Dr. Luthra is an avid tennis player and believes in wellness through preventive care. He likes to travel with his family.
Jay Luthra, MD, MBA, FACEP, is Board Certified in Emergency Medicine with several years of clinical and administrative experience at two New York area hospitals. He is a graduate of SMS Medical College in India. Dr. Luthra completed two years of surgical training from Mount Sinai Hospital, NY. He did his Emergency Medicine residency at Howard University Hospital, Washington DC. His surgical background and years of clinical experience have given him the ability to deal with trauma and illness with great calm.
Dr. Luthra served as the Chairman of Emergency Department for 16 years at two New York hospitals – A.L. Lee Memorial Hospital, Fulton and New York Westchester Square Medical Center, Bronx. Over the years he has fulfilled many leadership roles and trained physicians.
Dr Luthra also served as a clinical associate professor of Emergency Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical School.
